TaylorMade r7 CGB Max Irons 3-PW w/Graphite Shaft
Is there a new era in the technology of iron performance? The new r7CGB MAX irons has the inverted cone technology (ICT), that was a breakthrough for the metal woods to expand the core zone size, or sweet spot for us laymen golfers. And now that technology has been carried over to the r7CGB MAX irons. So the club face behaves different on these irons than any iron before.
These new Taylormade golf clubs face acts different on impact and the size of the sweet spot, where the high initial ball speed is delivered, is increased. The monza spider putter has a 20% smaller head version than the original monza spider so Taylormade named it Itsy Bitsy spider, how cute? Now Taylormade golf clubs has two monza spider versions to fit the golfers hands, needs and preferences.
The new itsy bitsy spider mid size has two movable weights in a steel wire frame construction. This high MOI mallet design has an aluminum core that is light and strong.

Weekend Golf with Friends
This was a great weekend with old friends. As the readers of this blog already know i live on a golf course in northern Wisconsin and this is our second full golf season here. Well we had some good friends come up this weekend for two days of golf and fun. We played on a league with these four couples in Minnesota and have had good adventures with them before.
The weather was perfect again, upper 50’s in the early morning and mid 70’s for a high. After the friends got here we never had to move any cars, all of the transportation was either golf cart or walking. That made for a long night at the club house (19th hole) and much fun was had and then we just walked home a 1/4 mile.
Anyway golfing with these friends again was terrific and we played some good golf games with the golf balls flying everywhere. Sunday we played two fivesomes with one score (with handicaps) counts on the first hole, two count on the second, three on the third, four on the fourth and then back to one again on the fifth and so on. And then you count all strokes on the ninth and eighteenth holes. Very fun games for this crowd, of coarse some of us had blurry eyes early but it was great fun. This is a simple game with simple golf rules and since you use handicaps anyone can play and it is fair.
