If you do not have a cover or enclosure for your golf cart or a rental cart then you have a very good chance of missing out on a lot of golf in the next two rainy months. There will be days that are washouts that nobody can play and enjoy the game.

But there will also be many days that are just chilly because of the wind, and days that it threatens to rain but actually would only rain one or two holes of your game. On those days you can play and enjoy the game even more because the golf course is not full of golfers. They do not now the secret to golf in inclement weather like you.

All you need is a high quality 3 sided golf cart cover, like the Classic Accessories model, and you can use this for 10 years or more, great value. And if your cart or the rentals where you are golfing this day do not have windshields you can buy a plastic fold able windshield to carry along just in case.

Play golf when you want and to heck with the weather this spring, a very cheap peice of golf equipment is the golf cart covers.

With the golf cart cover installed on your cart or a rental you can play golf in threatening weather without worry of getting soaked. Once the cart cover is installed you can clip back the doors for easy in and out if it is warm enough out.

If it does rain for a couple holes you are only in the rain when you hit your ball and on the green, the rest of the time you can sit in comfort inside and out of the rain. Also if you can play in this weather then you get to play with an empty golf course, kind of  like having your own golf course. Perfect.

The heavy duty canvas and big doors make it easy to use even in the rain, and boy is this nice when there is a chilly wind blowing and you can get out of it for a short time through out the day. Dress comfortably instead of wrapped up or playing all day in a rain suit when it really never rains.

Get a  golf cart cover  to use on a rental or your own cart for the bad weather days and get out there to enjoy this game more often, it is good for the heart and mind.

If you have been reading my blogs you know i have a Classic Accessories 3 sided golf cart cover or enclosure. And you also know that i love this great piece of golf equipment.

If i would have had any idea of how great these golf cart enclosures are i would have had one ten years ago. I did buy a clear plastic windshield 7 or 8 years ago because my home course did not have windshields on the rentals, although back then i walked a lot.

But i missed out on golf many times because it looked like rain, or rain was forecast but then it did not rain much at all or rained hard for 10 or 15 minutes at the most. If i would have gotten a golf cart cover i would have played on my day off instead of doing the honey-do list, not much fun at all.

The Classic Accessories golf cart covers are very easy to install or any rental with a top in a very short time after you learn how. They even come with a carrying case for easy transport and storage when not in use so it can just stay in your vehicle to be handy.

You and your golfing buddies have planned this trip for 3 months and you think you are ready to go, but wait, the weather is still a little cold down south. Are you still going to be able to enjoy the golf, or just freeze out there.

With a little preparation you will be just fine. Did you remember to pack up the  plastic and canvas golf cart cover that kept you warm last fall at home? Did you pack your winter golf gloves in your bag before you put it in the hard cover?

OK now bring along the long socks, the warm hat, the insulated wind breaker, you know, the golf apparel you used in the fall to stay warm. If you have all of that packed then you are set. If it turns warm great. But if the weather stays chilly you can still get in the golf with total enjoyment. One reason is you are prepared and the other is others were not and you have the golf course to yourself, how great is that. Your own private golf course in myrtle beach, cool.

If you want to hit a 6 iron as far as Tiger, or as hard as Elin, just try to lay up short of the creek?

Golf cart enclosures

A golf cart cover is a very good investment in your golf game.  How many times have you had a tee time and you and your golf buddies took and afternoon off of work and if rains or threatens too.

Classic accessories has three and four sided enclosures with plenty of clear plastic windows to see out. The zippered doors can be hooked open and disappear almost when not needed. These enclosures are made of military grade canvas material that has a rubber like coating on the inside, very classy look and feel.

These golf cart covers come with a travel bag for easy transport. With the three sided cart cover you can use it on rental carts with a windshield. And if the golf course you visit does not have windshields you can purchase a fold up windshield that will work great, that is what i do.

Then the next time in rains for twenty minutes and the sun comes back out you are still dry and comfortable, unlike the other golfers that will have to finish the round with wet clothes.

Golf Equipment for colder weather part 3

My suggestion is buy a high quality cart cover and use it for years and years and it will treat you well.  Like anything you buy you get what you pay for.

In my opinion Classic Accessories makes a high quality gofl cart cover, from the super clear and thick pvc windows to the quality zippers. And the super duty polyester walls are lined with some kind of rubber-like coating so they are very flexible and keep you very dry.

When anyone rides with me the first time and we use the cover they are very impressed at the quality , design and engineering of this Classic Accessories golf cart cover, as i was when i opened the box to install it. Oh, and that went very well also, very good instructions to follow and a simple job.

You will never regret buying a cart enclosure,  if it is a good one it will last for years and if you just use it a few times a year it could last you the rest of your life. My Classic Accessories cover was a very good purchase and although i use it for 60 to 80 rounds a year. I have had it one season and it still looks and works like new

Golf Cart enclosures how to stay warm

Sunday, January 3, 2010 By: john

To stay warm this time of year and golf when the golf course is not crowded, or maybe close to empty you need winter or cold weather gear. You dress in layers so you can still swing the club and take off clothes as you warm up, but if it is really chilly you need more help.

An enclosure for your golf cart goes a long way to keeping you warm. If your cart or rental cart has a windshield great, as long as it has a roof it will work. Next is the enclosure, either a 3 sided or4 sided will keep you warm and out of the wind.

These covers have large clear plastic windows and zipper doors so you are comfortable but not hindered in the enjoyment of the golf game. Some of them go under the roof and hook on the support struts. The rest go over the top and drape down and hook underneath. But all of the golf cart covers keep the cold and wind out so you can enjoy the empty golf course and fun with friends.

Golfing at this time of the year in the middle of the states can be challenging. If there is a better way to stay warm and enjoy the game instead of being inside looking out would you take it? Of coarse you would!

Well here it is, if you have your own power golf cart or you rent here is a way to enjoy golf and also stay warm and out of the wind. The Classics Accessories Company has designed and engineered the best and most portable golf cart cover i ever saw, so i bought one.

This cover is great, i can see very well through the quality clear plastic windows. The doors have a great design for operation and to get in and out. The zippers are way high quality and should last for years and years. The cover itself goes under the cart roof on the supports and has a ratchet strap built right in, fantastic!

And the best part is i can golf in 45 to 50 degree weather with a wind blowing and i am cozy inside the enclosure, especially is the sunny is shining, it will really warm up.

Get your own Classic Accessories golf cart cover and get out there and golf.

I golf in colder weather in the spring and late into the fall by having a golf cart cover on my electric cart. With the Classics Accessories 3 sided cover i can be out of the wind when not hitting my golf balls. By being out of the wind can make a heck of a lot of difference with a cold northern wind.

These golf cart covers by Classic accessories are high quality built with military grade canvas and plastic windows. The door fold open and clip up to keep them open and out of the way when you want. The rear window can be rolled up or let down for wind protection or put over the clubs if it rains.

The cover goes around the top supports and has a ratchet built in for a good fit. And the cover is portable to take with you and put on rental carts when we travel.

Golf Cart covers for bad weather golf

Friday, December 11, 2009 By: john

I never knew the value of a cover for a golf cart until i moved onto a golf course and got my own cart and cover. Since i was going to golf more, even if it was cold or trying to rain i wanted protection from the weather. I still walk but not on the bad weather days. If i knew then what i know now i would have had a good quality golf cart cover 10 years ago.

All the times you get wet just putting on your rain suit, and getting out the umbrella, now you are ready for the rain and it quits in 10 minutes, but you are still wet the rest of the round. I was a member at a course that had carts without windshields so to play in the cold i bought a plastic windshield cover to help with the wind. It helped but not like these covers.

Now when we travel i take my windshield cover and my 3 sided Classic Accessories golf cart cover. If we get to the course and it is windy and chilly i can install the cover in 3 minutes and adjust it to fit real nice. If it is going to be a nice day we can still walk. It is very nice to have that choice, and we can get many more rounds in per year. Get a quality cover and enjoy more golf every year from here on out, it would be a great addition to the rest of your golf equipment.
