This time of year, unless you are in the deep south, you need some help keeping warm if you are going to play golf. Besides dressing warm, which can hinder your swing, and walking to generate warmth by keeping the blood flowing what else can you do?

Well I have used a golf cart cover on my own cart or a rental when I travel. OK we have discussed how to dress in layers to stay warm and that works for walking and riding in a cart so you can adjust clothing as required. What do you do if it is a nice sunny day and looks good from inside but there is a cold wind with a bite.

Now is when you can stay in or sit in the nineteenth hole and play cards or bring out the big guns. With a rental cart or your own you install a golf cart cover with doors and clear windows. If the cart has a windshield great, if not install a plastic windshield wrap. Now you are almost set, you are dressed in layers and so is the cart. All you have to add now is the Coleman golf cart heater.

Coleman has a heater designed for golf cart use and it fits in the cup holder. This golf cart heater is adjustable for the correct temperature in the cart. And boy what a difference when you hit your drive and get in the cart and travel to the golf balls in a toasty warm golf cart.
