Some General Guidelines
If you hit the golf ball over 250 yards generally a stiff shaft is your best bet. 200 to 250 would be a regular shaft, less than 200 senior or ladies. The proper way to swing a golf club is smooth so if your swing is smooth then you might be able to use a softer flex shaft, but if you are jerky at the top, stiffer is the way to go. Also if your drives go left try stiffer if they go right try softer flex.
If the club shaft is to stiff the ball will fly lower and shorter, and will tend to fade right on right handed golfers. The shot will feel less solid even on good hits. The reason for this is because you are having a hard time getting the club face to square up to the ball, and you are working harder on that than putting a clean pure hit on the ball.
come back soon i will have more info on your golf equipment and how to find the correct clubs for you.

Golf Club Shafts 101
“Golf is more fun than walking naked in a strange place, but not much.”– Buddy HackettIt is not probably going to happen. The composites they use now to make shafts on the new golf clubs have outstanding fatigue properties they last a long time . They may have initial cracking between the fibers(micro cracking) in the first few hits on the golf ball but then will level off.
It means nothing because the shaft is not a whip that kicks forward. The shaft has a bend profile at the tip, center, and top, with different flexibilities for different desired ball projections.
All of the shaft manufacturers have there own measurements. They clamp in one end and the other end is flicked and they measure it and grade it to the other shafts they make and no one Else’s.
Set-up routine 101
It is very different playing golf on the course compared to hitting balls on the golf range. Standing on your first tee box can be intimidating. It is probably best to start out o a par three course, each hole is less than 250 yards.
The par three has sand traps and hazards and out of bounds just like the big boy course but it is not as long. The golf equipment you use on the par three will be mostly your irons so you can get some work on your short game. In the game of golf the short game is where the scoring and game is won or lost. If it takes three shots to get on the green from 100 yards out and you three putt it can add up in a hurry.
But just relax on the first tee box and enjoy the game for what it is, there is plenty of time to figure out the proper golf swing. If you worry about the score and don’t have fun then you won’t come back and learn the game. Laugh out loud, it’s just a game to be enjoyed.

Golf Club 101 part 4
The flex and stiffness of the shaft on your golf equipment is determined by the golfers strength. If your swing speed is slower it is recommended that you use a more flexible shaft. And Vissa versa the faster the swing speed the stiffer the shaft should be, both to help get the most distance out of your golf ball and to help keep it online.
A golf pro can help you determine your swing speed but if you are just starting out the speed my change quit a bit before you settle on what is comfortable. At first men want to kill the ball and blast it to hell and gone. But after buying dozens of new golf balls and using found balls it is learned that how to hit a golf ball is a more moderate swing that keeps the ball in play.
On the other hand women swing slow and deliberate to start. And as they get more comfortable and make some good contact on the golf ball the swing speed picks up.
So until you are set in your swing speed, and that could take some golf range time and about 20 to 30 games, you really can not buy the correct swing speed shaft for your golf club for the long haul.

Once you start playing you pretty much know you are going to play a long time, so what is the best way to do this? If you ask your buddies they are going to love spending your money to get you up and running, do you really need to spend hundreds right off of the bat, probably would be good if you can afford it. other wise you can get a used set of good quality experienced clubs that kind of fit you and hit the range. With a little coaching you are on your way to playing the best game ever, golf.

Ok in part 1 i was 150 out in the fairway. Now i have 150 to the green with only one dog leg, two large bunkers, a pond and a huge oak tree to miss. I could hit to in front of the green to a safe spot just between the bunkers and miss all the trouble but what fun is that?
So today i go to the golf bag and I choose the six iron, pull up my big boy pants and hit the titleist golf balls over the oak tree and onto the green. Here is a , usually that does not work out because the oak tree claims way to many golf balls and throws them in the woods. A hazard, not good, and you loss many, many golf balls trying these high risk golf shots. I was just lucky this time. Now just putt it in on this saddle shaped green 16 feet and your done, hopefully in one or two putts at the most. That makes it a birdie or par on this par five and around here that is very good. That’s it, the dreaded par five eleventh hole, considered the toughest hole to par of all eighteen.
Improve your golf swing on bunker shots

To become a confident and consistent bunker player you need to use the heavy weight of the sand wedge to your advantage. You want the feeling of gravity pulling the club down like it is falling from the top of your back-swing. Start with a more vertical back swing than normal which is what the average player does not do.
Just the opposite is the average golfers swing as they swing around their body which causes a shallow sand entry and the golf ball is dug out or the golf club gets jambed into the sand and both of those obviously do not work well at all. You need an open stance and then slightly open the club face and proceed with a steep back swing so that when you swing down with the gravity’s help you can spank the sand just behind the golf ball, producing the thump of a good bunker shot.
Now don’t assume the weight of the golf club will finish the shot for you, depending on the distance needed, you have to finish the shot with speed and full follow thru 100% and hold that pose as you watch the ball slowly roll toward the cup. nice bunker shot. And that is how to improve your golf swing on bunker shots. NOW GET YOUR GOLF CLUBS AND GO PLAY SOME GOLF, LIFE IS SHORT PLAY MORE GOLF. tee time got to go, bye.
