Spring Golfing is a wonderful thing isn’t it? You probably have not swung your golf clubs, or even seen them for months, unless you were lucky enough to go south and play.
So the time is here to get the golf bag out and clean up the old golf clubs to get them ready to go. Probably better check out your golf ball supply and get some fresh ones in the bag, along with tees a couple golf ball markers and a ball repair tool.
Got it all done? Now how about your Golf Apparel, is that ready to go, all the warm clothes that you have to wear this time of year. Where did you put your cold weather golf gloves last fall? And in the spring it does tend to rain so where are your rain gloves. Check your cold weather golf apparel, is it still in good shape or is it time to replace it. Have your favorite golf coat ready to go so when the course opens and you get the call to get out there you are set to go NOW.
Winter Golf Gloves
The winter golf gloves can come in handy for other things besides golf. I would bet that some of you down south golfers got some unexpected snow this winter and used your golf gloves to hold on to that shovel handle. I would bet that works pretty good to, good grip.
Speaking of grip i know when i play golf and if is cold enough to wear my winter golf gloves i have to change my grip. By that i mean that with two gloves on I have so much grip that i twist the golf club a little and my ball goes off line.
I only have one pair of winter golf glovesand they are Etonic with thinsulate. These gloves where not cheap by any means but they are very high quality and very warm. Usually when i put them on by the time i get to the third hole my hands are starting to get very warm and I can take them off.
Look for part two for the rest of the story.
All-weather gloves for chilly weather
| In the colder or at least chilly weather you need two gloves on to help keep your hands warm and comfortable. Etonic is one of the many golf glove companies that make cold weather gloves. These golf gloves are designed for adverse weather and to properly and comfortably grip the golf club. These cold weather gloves come with or without thinsulate depending on how cold of weather you are playing in, you do not want sweaty palms. But i will tell you what with two thinsulate gloves gripping your golf club you do not get the sting that sometimes comes with the off center hit on the golf ball.
I am sure you have tried the rain gloves and have seen how amazingly they work in the wet weather, the cold weather golf gloves do the same.

Winter Golf Gloves
This time of the year it is necessary to own a pair of all weather gloves so that you can go out in the chilly weather and play golf. This is the time of year that you can sit and stare out of the window or you can just dress up can some golf buddies and get out there.
The companies that make regular golf gloves also make winter gloves just for you to enjoy the game with warm hands. You get two gloves and some of them even have thinsulate linings. Most of the days that i get out and start with the winter gloves by the third or fourth hole my hands are so warm i have to take them off.
The outside, or club side, of these gloves have the soft leather for maximum grip on the golf clubs just like the regular ones. Actually with two gloves for grip you might find an adjustment is needed because of too much grip.
Now add winter or all weather golf gloves to your golf apparel and get out there and play. Life is short and golf is fun enjoy it when you can.
golfing in the fall Upnorth 101
OK summer does not last long enough upnorth for a full time golfer. So to compensate for that we start golfing when the snow goes away and keep going until it comes back again. To do this you have to be more than Hearty.
You have to be smart on your golf apparel. Number one is be prepared, i covered that on another blog golfing in northern wisconsin so we will move on. Golfing in cold weather takes smart preperation. You need golf gloves but not just one but two. And not ordinary golf gloves but winter gloves and they have to soft leather to help grab your club and thinsulate to keep you warm.
The cold makes it harder to grip the club so the soft leather helps out on both hands and also helps the sting when you miss hit the ball. And the thinsulate is a must and when the temperature is above 45 your hand will feeel almost to warm.
