With the weather so unpredictable, a sunny morning turning into a cloudy, drizzly afternoon you have to be prepared. If a short shower pops up an umbrella will work to keep you from getting wet and then cold for the rest of the round. Or worse yet making you call it quits.
The best way to stay dry and comfortable on a foggy damp day on a persistent on and off rain is to have good rain gear. There are plenty of choices of good rain gear that is designed to wear and still let you swing your club without restrictions. some of them breathe and some of them pack up very nice so you can always have them in your bag ready to go.
