Calloway golf balls has changed the old warbird. This new Warbird ball design has many new changes handed down from the top of the line. Starting with the part of the warbird golf balls we all can see is the old round dimples are gone and replaced with the HEX Aerodynamics for the first time.
This Ionomer cover with the new HEX dimples provides longer lasting playability because it is so durable. Of coarse the longer lasting cover only works if the golfer,us, does not hit the warbird golf balls in the woods or in the water. Calloway still has not made the warbird golf balls float.

Taylormade TP Black Golf Balls have an advanced thermoset urethane cover that is cast to give the golf balls a higher rate of spin off of the shorter irons. Or as we golfers like to call it, feel and control around the green.
These TP Blacks have a multi-layer ionomer mantle that works with the NdV4 low compression core for less spin of the golf ball. This works off of the tee and long fairway shots to promote distance and still has a softer feel and sound.
I think that is what i would like in my golf balls, long off of the tee and still feel soft. That gives me that feeling of control even on the long shots to the pin when you want the golf ball to land soft and check up.

The weather now in northern Wisconsin is what it should have been in October. Back then we had upper 40’s and rainy it seemed like all month and the golf course was to be closed on November 1st.
It has been so nice here the management opened the golf course last Friday so i got out the Taylormade golf clubs and took the golf cart out of storage. It was really hard to get the right mindset to play competitive golf, i was just happy to be able to play the greatest game ever. Fridays game and Saturdays game were OK but i kept hitting the golf balls in the rough where all the leaves are stuck in the long grass. You just get tired of looking for the golf ball.
The sun is so low in the sky that on some of the holes we had three golfers watching where the ball goes and still had trouble sometimes. But all in all it sure beat getting stuck in the house or doing yard work.
A bad day of golf is better than just about anything.
