Golfing in the spring after the long winter up here in gods country is a long  anticipated thing. When the golf cart and golf clubs get put away in the back of the garage and the golf apparel goes into winter storage I was ready for a break from golf.

It was nice to get on with the winter activities and a change of pace. But that was in the middle of November. Now it is March and the snow is melting from the warm sun and everyone is starting to bring up, not long until we are golfing again.

And  I Can’t wait for that. Now is the time to get the golf apparel out and see what you have left and what was worn out and you threw away last fall. Hopefully you did not keep that way out of style stuff for yet another year.

Now is a good time to look through your golf clothes and look through the Internet to get what you need. When opening day comes you will probably need more cold weather apparel and you better be ready. But hopefully it will not be long after that you will need shorts and golf shirts and a few new golf balls and a couple pairs of new golf gloves.

Get moving and inventory your golf apparelso you ar ready for opening day!!

There are times to be cheap of frugal on golf equipment and times not to be because you do not save anything. I have had my winter gloves for 6 or 7 years and they are still new. At $30 that is less than $5 per year averaged out and they are still like new and could go another 6 or 7 years.

Buy a good pair of winter golf gloves and quit looking out the window and get out there and golf. There are many manufacturers that make golf equipment and golf apparel so that we golfers can play in some bad weather conditions and still enjoy the game of golf because we are warm and having fun.

As long as you are getting a good pair of winter golf gloves  maybe you should check your rain gloves also. If they are getting worn out or maybe you do not have a good pair of rain gloves either. Get your golf appparel  now before the season starts so you are ready to enjoy the game as soon as possible.

Winter Golf Gloves

Saturday, February 6, 2010 By: john

The winter golf gloves can come in handy for other things besides golf. I would bet that some of you down south golfers got some unexpected snow this winter and used your golf gloves to hold on to that shovel handle. I would bet that works pretty good to, good grip.

Speaking of grip i know when i play golf and if is cold enough to wear my winter golf gloves i have to change my grip. By that i mean that with two gloves on I have so much grip that i twist the golf club a little and my ball goes off line.

I only have one pair of winter golf glovesand they are Etonic with thinsulate. These gloves where not cheap by any means but they are very high quality and very warm. Usually when i put them on by the time i get to the third hole my hands are starting to get very warm and I can take them off.

Look for part two for the rest of the story.

This is the time of year that no matter where you golf in the United States it is a good chance that you are going to have to dress for cold weather golf. You golfers know the drill, long socks, long sleeves, warm hat, and layers of insulated golf apparel.

Trying to make sure your clothes do not hinder your golf swing. And you put on your cold weather insulated golf gloves to keep your hands warm. You need Cold weather golf apparel to be able to enjoy the game of golf this time of the year. It is either that or standing inside looking out the window, not fun.

And if you are on of the fortunate golfers to have a golf trip you do not want to spend all that money and not have the warm clothes to allow you to play if the weather turns bad. And we all know that can happen anywhere this time of the year.
